Patriotism, inspiration, humor and joy were on display through the creative and beautiful floats in the 2015 Rose Parade. This year's Grand Marshal, the late Louis Zamperini, was represented by a riderless horse symbolizing a fallen soldier, and honored with a float from his hometown of Torrance detailing his remarkable life story. Dole Food Company earned its fifth consecutive Sweepstakes award with its vibrant entry "Rhythm of Hawaii." Zappos.com won the Animation trophy for its photogenic entry featuring a gigantic pink hippo serving as a water taxi for a flock of birds.
