Multiple parades roll through the city of Nice, France, during the spectacular two-week "Carnaval de Nice." The celebration draws nearly one million visitors who enjoy a series of daytime flower parades
and evening illuminated parades. To support the 2015 theme "King of Music," float and costume designs featured creative interpretations of musical instruments, piano keyboards and even metronomes.
One of the most unique traditions of the flower parade is that riders toss flowers to the eager crowd ... which leaves the floats nearly bare by the end of the parade.
