(July 14, 2012, Minneapolis, Minnesota)
The first major head-to-head contest of the 2012 Drum Corps International season was a big success, with cooperative weather, enthusiastic fans
and entertaining performances making DCI Minnesota memorable. The event featured 18 World, 4 Open and 2 All-Age units.
Blue Devils (86.30) and Carolina Crown (85.80) rose to the top with a 2-point spread ahead of The Cadets (83.80) and
Phantom Regiment (83.65). The Crossmen (72.80) had a strong performance that landed in 13th place, with the corps well positioned to
advance from last season's 17th place finish at championships. The Drum Corps International season is now at the mid-point, with corps continuing to perfect their programs ahead of the
DCI World Championships in Indiana August 6-11. All 24 corps are pictured here in reverse order of appearance.
