(July 16, 2011, Minneapolis, Minnesota)
Close competition and entertaining performances made Drum Corps International's 2011 DCI Minnesota
a thriller for fans. The event featured 18 World, 4 Open and 2 All-Age units.
The Cavaliers (87.35) maintained the lead they have held since the second contest of the season, staying ahead of
Carolina Crown (85.95), Blue Devils (85.90) and The Cadets (85.55). Troopers' 12th place finish (74.70) received a
challenge from Spirit of Atlanta (74.45) and Glassmen (74.30), with a mere 0.4 separating the three corps.
The Drum Corps International season is now at the mid-point, with corps continuing to perfect their programs ahead of the
DCI World Championships in Indiana August 8-13. All 24 corps are pictured here in reverse order of appearance.
