A total of 102 marching bands from 15 states participated in the 2011 Bands of America Grand National Championships. After two days of prelims, 33 competing bands advanced to the semi-finals contest. Twelve bands advanced to finals where Broken Arrow H.S. (Oklahoma) claimed the championship title. Outstanding musicianship and movement were noted among bands advancing through the weekend, confirming that this event draws the best of the best.
