GREENVILLE, IL, October 12, 2010 DeMoulin Brothers & Co. has announced that Michael Gray has joined the DeMoulin design team. Gray combines his professional
artistry with a tremendous background in visual design, program coordination and motivational services for bands, guards and world class drum corps.
Gray is an acclaimed Impressionist painter with representation in six galleries throughout the United States. His
paintings can be found in government, corporate and private collections throughout the world. Gray was a charter member of the Governor's
"Canvas the Arts" committee and is a founding member of the Daedelus Workshop Theater and On Stage Theater.
His involvement in winter guard in the Carolinas can be traced back to its roots and he has served as
designer, consultant and/or clinician for many notable units and a host of circuit champions. He went on to participate as a WGI Judge,
where he served three years as the Ensemble Analysis Facilitator. His clinics at WGI's SPINFEST were among the top rated and he has
conducted both designer and judge training clinics throughout the U.S., England, Japan and the Netherlands.
Gray has six years experience as a judge for DCI, handling ensemble visual, general effect and color guard captions. He is
frequently seen in the judge's seat at Bands of America regional competitions as well as the BOA Grand National Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Gray has also had the honor of judging WGI World Championships and the Japanese Drum Corps Championships & Marching Band Championships.
Currently, Gray is serving as visual coordinator at Wando H.S. in South Carolina, the class 5A State Champions for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Gray is in
his third year as program coordinator for the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps.
Mr. Gray is a resident of and maintains a studio in Charleston, South Carolina.
